Job Description
- To guide the IT organization in its ambition, Mutua lIT is looking for an experienced and driven consultant who can act as a ‘Senior Program Officer’ to take the lead in making the IT programs value-driven.
- The consultant is expected to have relevant experience and references in setting up and supervising complex programs.
- The IT Project Manager will mainly interact with internal teams & departments. The focus is on the skills rather than a strong technical background.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitoring the strategic objectives and benefits to be achieved
- Translation of the value of the IT programs into the benefits & KPIs to be achieved in capabilities and projects through. a benefit map approach
- Create an overview of longer-term capacity needs based on generic profiles
- Setting up a financial framework in which the allocation and monitoring of budgets or availability of financial resources is made uniform
- Defining and assessing the impact of possible changes on the organization
- Clear planning of the different phases with an overview of the different initiatives, their dependencies risks and assumptions
- Setting up clear roles & responsibilities with associated governance
- Mapping and developing an approach to manage the various stakeholders and provide reporting according to their needs
- General program coordination using a uniform methodology for the program and underlying projects

- Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
- Deploy and develop active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
Technical profile requirements
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor’s) or equivalent through experience.
- Demonstrable experience in technical environments in which the projects and programs are situated.
- At least 5 years of experience in setting up and supervising programs.
- Capacity to oversee multiple individual projects and programs, and to manage and optimize the substantive connections between them based on: program methodology
- Applied experience within both waterfall and agile environments
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Very good knowledge of the terminology, organization, roles and processes of the PM methodology. Be able to transfer relevant expert knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of a program management methodology (Benefit map, Program planning (road mapping), stakeholder involvement, change management, long-term capacity planning based on genetic profiles, risk & issue management, …).
- Good knowledge of NL, FR, and EN
