Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of ICT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
  • Establish and oversee project governance structures, controls, and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and work breakdown structures.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Project Board and suppliers.
  • Manage task assignments, authorize work packages, balance team workload, and motivate team members.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date (plans, logs, reports).
  • Facilitate effective communication across the project team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations to varied audiences.
  • Organize and chair project meetings, workshops, and review sessions.
  • Ensure business objectives and user needs are reflected in the delivered solutions
  • Support change management and contribute to organizational process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing at least one medium-to-large ICT project.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PM2, PMP).
  • Experience in Agile project delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Understanding of IT systems, architecture, and business alignment.
  • Familiarity with current ICT trends and technologies used in public sector digitalization.

Technologies & Tools:

  • Project Management Tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps
  • Documentation & Reporting: MS Office Suite, Power BI, Visio, SharePoint
  • Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx
  • Agile/DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control systems (e.g., Git), and software delivery pipelines
  • General ICT knowledge: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), cybersecurity concepts, databases (SQL), REST APIs

Certifications:

At least one of the following certifications:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • PM2 Agile, PM2 Advanced or PM2 Essential
