Job Description

The Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating, analyzing and supervising complex projects within the context of data exchange and process optimization between various government departments (including Police, Justice and Mobility).

  • The Business Analyst plays a key role in translating policy objectives into functional solutions, monitoring the progress of IT developments and ensuring a uniform and efficient working methodology.
Core Responsibilities
  • Performing business analyses, including drawing up as-is and to-be process flows.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of data quality and process flows.
  • Analysing and optimising data exchange between the Police, Justice and Mobility with a view to correct driving licence issuance.
  • Drafting clear and detailed user stories with corresponding acceptance criteria.
  • Follow-up of IT suppliers in functional analysis and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Reporting to the Project Manager in case of risks, bottlenecks, dependencies or other blockages.
  • Ensuring careful and accessible documentation on the collaboration tools.
  • Supporting the Public Prosecution Service (OM) and H&R in establishing a uniform approach to the registration of the forfeiture of the right to steer.
  • Facilitating working groups and consultation moments with various stakeholders (Mobility, Police, Justice).
Profile Requirements
  • Experience with complex business analysis in a government context.
  • Strong in stakeholder management and communication with both technical and non-technical parties.
  • Knowledge of Business and functional analysis, process modeling and creating user stories.
  • Experience with IT projects and supervising suppliers.
  • Meticulous in documentation and follow-up.
  • Affinity with the mobility or justice context is an asset.
