Job Description
As a medior specialist office 365 in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), you are responsible for the implementation of a DLP project within Microsoft 365 PurView in which both cloud and on-premises documents are in scope. You will work closely with different departments to ensure that our data remains secure and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Guiding the DLP project from initiation to completion.
- Help develop and implement DLP strategies and policies within Microsoft 365.
- Integrating cloud & on-premises documents into the DLP solution.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data loss.
- Helping the people responsible for training and supporting end users in the use of DLP tools and processes.””
Technical competencies
- Proven experience configuring and managing DLP policies within Microsoft 365
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center / PurView
- Proven experience in integrating on-premises & M365 Cloud documents and systems with Microsoft PurView and Microsoft Defender
- Proven experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365 on-premises
should have
- Proven knowledge of data security, privacy laws (such as GDPR), and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience with PowerShell for accessing Microsoft 365 for reporting
- Proven experience in managing DLP alerts, including investigating and handling incidents
- Demonstrated experience in managing mobile devices through Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager for the purpose of applying the DLP policy
- Demonstrated proficiency in using advanced content analysis, such as using regular expressions
