Job Description
We are seeking a Survey Engineer to support offshore survey projects, ensuring the effective operation, calibration, and maintenance of survey equipment.
- The ideal candidate will work as part of a dynamic offshore team, contributing to data acquisition, real-time positioning, and system performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the mobilization and demobilization of vessels for offshore survey operations.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and testing of survey equipment while offshore.
- Conduct calibration of survey sensors and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Execute various offshore survey tasks, including positioning and data acquisition.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, fault reports, and administrative documentation in line with company guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including safety programs and quality management systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, IT, or a related field.
- Equivalent vocational qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered.
Technical Expertise
- survey sensors
- real-time positioning, data acquisition, and data quality control (QC).
- preventative maintenance systems, fault diagnosis, and reporting.
- CAD software and online survey software.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
