Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior System Administrator to join our growing and dynamic team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will contribute to the management, supervision and optimization of system infrastructures, including hardware and software aspects. You will play a key role in the development of our new infrastructure, while maintaining and improving the existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain and upgrade existing and future system infrastructures.
- Configure, deploy and administer operating systems and systems software.
- Ensure the security and availability of systems and data.
- Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure the consistency and performance of the environment.
- Solve complex systems problems and suggest improvements.
- Carry out and/or supervise installation and maintenance tasks.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Participate in the development of the technological evolution strategy for solutions.
- Adapt models, systems and infrastructure to changing needs.
- Contribute as a team player while also being capable of working independently.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks, assess risks appropriately, and seek guidance when necessary.
- Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to self-learning and development.
Required experience:
- System Administrator Experience: 5 Y
- Managing operating systems (Windows, Linux) and system software Experience: 3 Y
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and associated management tools and knowledge of practices and technologies relating to microservices-oriented infrastructure are a plus
Profile description: - You hold a bachelor’s degree or have 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Analytical mindset.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges and/or incidents
- In depth understanding of mobile telecommunication technologies
- Curious and enthusiastic to learn
- You are fluent in either Dutch or French and have a solid understanding of the other language.
- You have a good command of written and spoken technical English.
