We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Engineer to support the specification, implementation, and certification of industrial communication protocols within a global R&D environment.
- In this role, you will collaborate with international product teams to ensure compliance with Schneider Electric standards and industry certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global R&D teams to define and implement industrial protocol specifications (e.g., PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
- Lead and support internal equipment certifications and assist product teams with external certifications in line with Schneider Electric standards.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of interoperability testing strategies in collaboration with protocol experts.
- Perform interoperability and certification tests to ensure reliable integration of automation systems and devices.
- Support the creation and refinement of internal rules, requirements, and standards for industrial communication.
- Engage in innovative proof-of-concept initiatives and leverage global collaboration opportunities across international development centers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
