Job Description
We are looking for a Unix Engineer to provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for key customers and partners.
- You will act as the primary contact for IT administrators, handling technical inquiries, issue resolution, and network security optimization.
- This role requires in-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, strong analytical skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure seamless system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT administrators via ticketing systems and phone support.
- Diagnose network and system issues, implement effective solutions, and analyze root causes.
- Work with complex IT infrastructures, integrating various hardware and software components.
- Monitor, manage, and control customer environments via remote maintenance (Remote Managed Service).
- Provide guidance on network security optimization and product functionality.
- Support the automation of support processes and enhance documentation within the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and on-site consultants to enhance service efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or an IT-oriented certification/training
