We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtualization Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, and optimization of virtualization environments, primarily focused on VMware technologies.
- This role involves managing virtual infrastructures, supporting cloud and on-premise integrations, and contributing to the reliability and performance of enterprise IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain VMware environments, including vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, SRM, HCX, VMware on Cloud, AVD, and VDI Horizon.
- Manage virtual desktop infrastructure and application delivery through App Volumes, Remote Desktop Services, and clustering technologies.
- Support and maintain Active Directory environments, including Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS, DHCP, GPO, and DNS configurations.
- Administer Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online, as well as Office 365 platforms.
- Utilize HPE OneView and other management tools for hardware and infrastructure monitoring (preferred).
- Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of virtualized systems, while planning and executing scheduled and preventive maintenance activities.
- Provide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and documentation of virtual environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar roles involving virtualization and infrastructure management.
