Job Description
We are seeking a skilled VMware Engineer to design, deploy, and manage virtualization solutions that meet client and business requirements.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing VMware environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- You will work closely with internal teams, providing technical support and expertise in VMware infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization solutions based on client and business needs.
- Monitor and optimize VMware environments to ensure efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, storage, and virtualization performance.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect virtualized environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and guidance on VMware-related matters, including opening support tickets with vendors when necessary.
- Maintain and update system documentation and configurations to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Systems Engineer with a focus on VMware technologies.
- VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi.
- VMware NSX, vSAN, and other VMware products
- networking concepts and protocols.
- Citrix or VDI technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
