Job Description
We are seeking two professionals: one to work as a Web Master and the other as a Web Editor (Writer).
As a Web Editor/Master, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research, including interviews, and drafting a variety of texts such as news articles, stories, training materials, funding and event notices, project descriptions, social media posts, and executive summaries.
- Drafting, adapting, and editing content like news items, stories, and social media posts based on provided client and partner information.
- Overseeing the production, adaptation, and publication of required materials while adhering to Knowledge Network visual identity and European Union visibility requirements.
- Managing daily operations of the platform, including content updates, news posts, user registration, assisting staff and MS correspondents, and providing helpdesk support to platform users.
- Offering functional support and acting as the helpdesk for end users.
Qualifications
- To be a fit for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- A high level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in researching, drafting, and editing various types of content (news articles, stories, training materials, funding notices, social media posts, etc.).
- The ability to rewrite, summarize, and update texts while adhering to EU visibility and visual identity standards.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of web design/HTML.
- A strong understanding of EU institutions and communication policies.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
