Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Administration of Windows Server operating systems and services.
  • Providing 2nd line support and coordinating with 3rd line of support.
  • Problem definition, analysis and resolution: diagnosis of software and hardware problems.
  • Collaborating closely with other teams in Digital Unit (infra, networks, IAM, Cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Developing and implementing best practices for Windows services and processes.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for operational processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Supporting development teams across our growing development, UAT, and production environments  in area of Windows services and processes.
  • Handling incidents and service requests escalated by the 1st line of support
  • Troubleshooting and solving of any reported incidents and problems
  • Registering and tracking tickets in the relevant 3rd line support
  • Updating status of the open requests in the ticketing system in timely manner
Specific expertise
  • Total 9 years relevant experience is needed.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Microsoft Windows Administrator versions 2016 or higher.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and hybrid Cloud  integration.
  • Good knowledge of Windows services such as AD, DFS, RDS, GPO.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in automating Windows Server and tasks  simplification (Powershell).
  • Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, PKI/CA
  • Hands-on experience in networking, security and system services for MS Windows Server OS
  • Exposure to virtualized infrastructure, such as Vmware ESXi or Nutanix
  • Experience in ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow) and ITIL based change management,  configuration management and release management processes.
  • A valid proof of security clearance CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL is not required at the start of assignment. However, it is required to start the procedure within one month from the start of the contract.
Education
  • Diploma Degree or equivalent experience.
Certifications
  • A valid Microsoft certification – confirming experience with Windows Server solutions.
  • A valid Microsoft certification – confirming experience with Windows Azure cloud solution.
